About the Artist

TATIANA ROULIN, PSA

Tatiana Roulin is a professional, award-winning, nationally and internationally renowned representational painter, best known for her Nocturnes & Twilights. She has been living in New England  and working as a full time artist for the past 20+ years. Currently Tatiana is primarily working in oil, acrylic and pastel but she is proficient in all fine art mediums.

Her credentials include being a Signature Member of the Pastel Society of America (PSA), a juried member of the Oil Painters of America and an associate member of the National Oil & Acrylic Painters' Society. She has also been a member of many other local art associations and organizations across New England. Roulin’s approach combines the classic atelier training, largely based on techniques used by the Old Masters, with her own personal style expressed through the harmony of design, color and light.

Her art is in numerous private, corporate and public collections worldwide across 5 continents. Roulin has won many prestigious art awards, most recently her work was awarded with "Best Nocturne" (April 2026) & "Honorable Mention" (August & May 2026) in the 16th Salon Art Prize from PleinAir® Magazine and Fine Art Connoisseur, "Pastel Society of New Hampshire Award" in the  PPSCC “For Pastels Only” 2025 National exhibition, Semi-Finalist of the 13th PleinAir Salon National Competition, "Best Nocturne" (Apr 2023) & “Honorable Mention” (March 2024) in the 13th PleinAir Salon and "Outstanding Pastel" Award (May 2026, September 2025  & August 2022) in the Bold Brush Art Contest & Exhibit.

  Over the decades her work has been featured in several one-person exhibitions in CA, RI, and MA, invitational shows, as well as in many prestigious national and international juried exhibitions across the world.

The artist has been featured in a number of magazines such as Fine Art Connoisseur (Featured Work: Tatiana Roulin, Sept/Oct 2026 issue, Jul/Aug 2026 issue), Plein Air Magazine ( Aug/Sept 2026, June/July 2024, Aug/Sept 2023, Jan 2023 & Sept 2012), South Shore Living Magazine (Dec 2017  & Oct 2013),  Boston Voyager, ArtScope Magazine (2016, 2014, 2013), Art & Color 365, Studio Visit, Local Rhode Island Magazine, to name just a few. Her art has been published in art books including Best of Worldwide Charcoal, Pastel and Pencil book vol2 by Kennedy Publishing and The Richeson75 International exhibition book of Small Works Competition 2018. She has been also selected to appear as a Featured Artist by Windsor & Newton, UART and Utrecht as well as she was featured on the “Arts in the Spotlight” Mansfield cable TV show. She is also listed in the “Who is Who in America” as well as in “Who is Who in Visual Art” and “New Faces in Arts & Design” European art catalogs.

Over the years Tatiana has worked with countless number of art galleries across the States & abroad and in many she was one of the top-selling artists. Her work is highly valued and sought after by the collectors. Currently Roulin’s art is represented by the True Grit Art Gallery of Middleboro, MA and the Spring Bull Gallery of Newport, RI. Tatiana also regularly exhibits her work in other regional and local art galleries. She currently lives and maintains her studio & gallery in Greater Boston area.
